Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls, Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch
After breakfast, you shall be welcomed by a guide from Mugenyi Eco-Tours, who will brief you about the trip. We will embark on the road to the Murchison Falls National Park via Luwelo and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
Day 2 Game drive and boat cruise
On this day, we will set off for a morning game drive. Here, you will have a
chance to see some of the interesting wildlife species that call the park their home including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks among others. On the afternoon we will enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to spott crocodiles, hippos as well as unique bird species that will take your breath away.
Day 3 Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast we will drive to the Kibale National Park.
Day 4 Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast we will proceed to the park’s headquarters for a briefing before entering the jungles of Kibale Forest to search for mankind’s closest relatives. You will be given 1 hour to experience the environment and the chimpanzees. Expect to see several primate species including the Red-Tailed Monkeys, L’Hoest’s Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, and Olive Baboons among others as well as birds, butterflies, and tree species.
In the afternoon, we will start our journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way you will be able to view the glamorous ranges of the Mountains of the Moon.
Day 5 Game drive and boat cruise
In the morning we shall enjoy a game drive through the Kasenyi Plains which is home to 612 bird species. Furthermore you are likely to see the Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks and waterbucks among others. Afterwards a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where further wildlife like hippos and buffaloes among others can be seen, is waiting for you.
Day 6 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day we shall be spending the day in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda’s mountain gorillas’ capital. On our ways we will pass through the spectacular savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 7 Gorilla trekking and community walk
After a briefing on trekking at the parks headquarters we will embark in the jungles to track the adorable mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Once sighted, you will be required to spend only one hour with the allocated gorilla family while studying their behavior and taking photos.
Day 8 Transfer to Lake Mburo and bahima community
On this day we will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast.
We shall go to the nearby community of the Bahima people in order to experience their culture. We shall learn how they produce their milk products and how the long horned cattle’s look like.
Day 9 Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, we will start the day with an exhilarating game drive through the diverse landscapes. Witness a thrilling spectacle of wildlife – spot graceful zebras, towering giraffes, playful impalas, and a myriad of other captivating beings. Keep your eyes peeled for the vibrant array of birdlife that calls this park home. After an unforgettable morning in the wild, we shall journey to Kampala/Entebbe, preparing for your departure.
