Day.1 Transfer to Kibale National Park and rock formation
Upon arrival, you shall meet your professional Mugenyi Eco-Tours guide for a briefing on your safari. Enjoy a delicious lunch and en route before heading to Fort Portal for a visit to the Amabere Ganyina Mwiru, a culturally significant site with a remarkable history located in western Uganda. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day. 2 CHimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast we will embark on a journey to the park headquarters for a chimp tracking briefing. Afterwards we will proceed to the Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese. Enjoy an exciting evening game drive before settling in for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your lodge.
Day.3 Game drive and boat cruise
After an early breakfast at your lodge, embark on an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi plains. This open Savannah grassland is a prime spot for wildlife viewing, offering opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, kobs, and even lions and leopards on lucky days.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Relax and take in the breathtaking scenery as you spot a variety of wildlife along the water. After a thrilling day, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day.4 Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and canoeing
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi via the Ishasha sector. Explore on a thrilling game drive the area’s renowned tree-climbing lions. Afterward, choose from a leisurely walk to one of the 29 islands to visit the local people or a serene canoeing adventure on the lake.
Day 5 Traveling to Lake Mburo
After breakfast fueling we will hit the road for a thrilling drive from Kabale to Mbarara. This scenic journey will take you through rolling hills, lush green valleys, and charming local villages. Once in Mbarara, buckle up for an adrenaline-pumping game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. As you venture deeper into the park, prepare to be amazed by the diverse wildlife that calls this place home. Keep your eyes peeled for graceful giraffes, mischievous zebras, and majestic elephants. If you are lucky, you might even spot a sneaky leopard or a powerful buffalo lurking in the shadows. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6 Walking safari and evening game drive
Embark on a guided walking safari to explore the wilderness on foot. Your experienced ranger will lead you through the park, allowing you to observe the intricate details of the ecosystem that are often missed from a vehicle. Remember to remain silent during the walk to avoid disturbing the animals. Discover fascinating plants, insects, and animal tracks. Keep a watchful eye, as you may encounter larger wildlife at a safe distance. As the sun begins to set, experience the magic of an evening game drive. This is the perfect time to spot nocturnal animals like owls, bats, and hedgehogs, which are most active during the night. Witness the breathtaking transition from day to night in the savanna. As darkness falls, many animals become more active, increasing your chances of
encountering predators such as lions and leopards on the hunt. This is our final evening before returning to Kampala the following day.
Day 7 Travelling to Kampala
After breakfast, conclude your unforgettable 7-day safari with a scenic drive from your lodge to Kampala via Masaka. The enhanced Masaka City is celebrated for its abundant historical legacy and dynamic agricultural culture. The region boasts a wealth of cultural attractions, including traditional arts and crafts, and a diverse culinary landscape. Along the way, make a memorable stop at the equator for photo opportunities, a delicious lunch, and refreshing drinks. Visit the intriguing Mpambire, a drum-making center, a fascinating glimpse into Ugandan culture.
