The mountain gorillas only live in the dense vegetation of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and along the volcanic Virunga mountain range that stretches across Congo, Rwanda and Uganda’s Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.Treks are led by trained and experienced guides who are familiar with the terrain and the behavior of the gorillas. These guides know how to ensure both your safety and the safety of the gorillas. Rangers are also present during the trek, helping to manage interactions with the gorillas and the surrounding environment.
