Day 1. Transfer to Murchison falls National Park

After having our morning breakfast, we will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Our journey will then take us to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a delightful nature walk and an exhilarating rhino trek, renowned for its population of majestic white rhinos. We then proceed to visit to the awe-inspiring summit of the falls. 

Day 2. Game drive and boat cruise

After breakfast we will proceed for an early morning game drive in search of wildlife like leopards, elephants, antelope, lions etc. In the afternoon we shall go for a boat cruise on the Nile where animals and crocodiles can be seen basking at the shores.

Day 3. Transfer to Kibale National Park 

The Kibale National Park is waiting for us on this day. 

Day 4. Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast we shall go for a chimpanzee trekking journey. The park has got the most concentration of primates in the whole world. Subsequently we will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park at the foothills of Mt Rwenzori.

Day 5. Game viewing and launch cruise

Discover the wonders of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Start with an early morning game drive across the vast Kasenyi Plains, seeking out the park’s rich wildlife, including lions (sometimes found in trees!), elephants, buffaloes, and a plethora of birds. In the afternoon we will experience a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway teems with life, offering fantastic opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and other animals that come to its banks to drink and bathe.

Day 6. Twin Lakes and transfer to Mgahiga National Park 

A day of stunning scenery awaits! After breakfast, explore the serene Twin Lakes, learning about their history and local significance. The journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is a highlight in itself, winding through the breathtaking landscapes of Uganda. You will pass through Ishaka and Kabale, a region renowned for its beauty and often referred to as the “Switzerland of Uganda.” 

Day 7. Gorilla trekking and community walk

Awaken your senses for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Then, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before venturing into the Impenetrable Forest. The reward? A magical hour spent observing a gorilla family in their natural habitat – a truly life-changing experience. Following your trek, savor lunch and immerse yourself in the local culture with visits to nearby communities and markets.

Day 8. Travelling to Lake Bunyonyi

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning lake renowned as the deepest in Uganda. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge and then spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake. Choose from a variety of activities, such as canoeing on the tranquil waters or taking a boat trip to explore one of the lake’s 29 islands. The evening is yours is dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the lake’s beauty to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before dinner at your lodge.

Day 9. Wildlife encounters at Lake Mburo National Park.

After breakfast, immerse in a breathtaking drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara. Arrive in time for an exciting afternoon boat cruise on the lake. Lake Mburo is known for its rich biodiversity, including a variety of antelope species like zebras and an impressive array of birds, such as the elusive African finfoot. Keep an eye out for crocodiles basking along the shores. 

Day 10. Transfer to Entebbe a final safari adventure

Wake up early and savor a delicious takeaway breakfast before setting out for a final, unforgettable game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Immerse yourself in the magic of the African bush, with opportunities to see antelopes and other wildlife. After lunch, begin your journey to Kampala, pausing at the Equator for photos. Entebbe marks the end of your safari adventure.
